🌿 Caiada Branch!
Our branch got a yas!! 🥳 Yasses are like little busses and are the main source of transportation here in CV. Our Branch President highered a guy to give people rides on Sunday and now all our cutie friends can come to church without worrying about transportation! This is has been HUGE for the work. We had 6 friends at church yesterday! 🙌

👀 Encontrar as pessoas!
Sunday night, we found ourselves stuck with 2 hours of nothing to do after three lessons fell through. We looked at our weekly goals and realized we hadn't even come close to our finding goal. So, after a heartfelt prayer, we set off to a little neighborhood in our area. On the way, we drove down a street we've driven through a thousand times, but something felt different. So, we decided to park and do some ✨️finding✨️
Right off the bat we met a group of people who were so interested! The Spirit was booming and we were on 🔥 the whole night! We made our way down the street and before we knew it, it was 9:00 and we met our goal!! The Lord truly answers prayers 🙏

💢 Scripture power!
I have truly been falling in love with the scriptures these past few months. The Book of Mormon has become so REAL to me; the people, the stories, and eternal truths. Here's a scripture from my studies this week.

And thus, in their prosperous circumstances, they did not send away any who were naked, or that were hungry, or that were athirst, or that were sick, or that had not been nourished; and they did not set their hearts upon riches; therefore they were liberal to all, both old and young, both bond and free, both male and female, whether out of the church or in the church, having no respect to persons as to those who stood in need.

Go Nephites!! They're in the most ideal step of the pride cycle: prospering righteousness. May we always strive to remember our Savior, Jesus Christ through the worst AND best days. May we always remember to look outward and upward, especially when we're walking the smoothest road.

Missionary Mail....
Sunday- a family we had been visiting came to church. We have been trying to get them back to church since I transferred here.

Went to a Spanish baptism it was so cool. I understand nothing but felt the spirit.

Friday- today was super hot. But it was okay. Today was super fun we made a friend and talked about the Book of Mormon and he said we could come back at some point next week.

Missionary Mail....
And today-- oh, today was amazing! I had the humbling honor to es**rt one of my Temple Prep students through the temple. But I had the opportunity to go through the temple with her as she went through for the first time. She loved it, and wants to go on a road trip to visit as many temples as she can. She was so ready, and she was so relaxed and joyful.

There were many people from our Ward that came, too. The difference between that and an es**rt is that the es**rt comes early with the person going through for the first time. The es**rt sits next to them, helps them through the ceremony, and answers their questions. It's a huge honor to be chosen by someone to be their es**rt. Normally, people aren't es**rts until their children go through the temple. I'm so grateful that I was able to serve this way, and that she trusted me enough to be her es**rt.

The Lord knows exactly what He's doing. He knew that this woman would need an es**rt, since her first choice wasn't able to be there today. So He called me to teach Temple Prep so that I could get to know her and so that it was appropriate for me to offer to be her es**rt instead. Not to mention, I got to befriend my other students and support them and serve them in other ways beyond the class. The Lord is letting me connect and make friends, which is something that's difficult to do as a relative newcomer in a very rural, small-town area. He is so Good.

He never does anything for the benefit of only one person-- He blesses each person involved directly and personally, as if it was only for them. Remember that God does this for you, too ❤️. Look for it, you will find it.
