Wow! What a weekend at Gallatin FCC. 3 services that shared about things God is doing locally, state-wide and world-wide. We appreciate the time and energy each speaker and organization represented gave at the 2026 mission fair. Continue to keep in prayers Lighthouse Learning Center, STEMM, and The Salt Company- Mizzou in the work they do to spread the gospel. Have a great week church family!

It's been a great weekend so far. We've had two great messages from Becky Butler and Dr. Steve Meyer. We have one more worship service with Gage Iddings giving the message tonight! We especially are encouraging our youth and their families to be there tonight as Gage shares the message, but all are welcome and all are encouraged to attend. Join us at 6:30!

Saturday Evening- Service Start Time 6:30 - Main Speaker Becky Butler - Followed by a Linger Longer time with cookies/ bars

Gallatin FCC wants to thank our mission committee specifically Gregg Johnson for organizing this event, we hope you'll join us as we seek to encourage and inform about the mission field. The Mission field is on our doorsteps (the daycare), college campuses, and stretches to the ends of the Earth(Tanzania, Philippines, Zimbabwe, Costa Rica); our church is proud to support fruitful mission work all over the globe. Last but certainly not least, we have speaker #3, Gage Iddings . Gage is representing , which is a campus ministry on the University of Missouri Campus. Gage is going to highlight the importance of getting involved in a church or ministry while at college and share a message the Lord has placed on his heart. Gage is a gifted young man of God with passion and the ability to teach/preach God's Word. We're encouraging all our youth and adults to come support Gallatin FCC's very own Gage Iddings on Sunday evening at 6:30. He's going to have a late night going back to Columbia, so let's make it worth his time by listening to what God's placed on his heart.

Sunday Morning's Speaker comes to us from Sioux City, Iowa. He began STEMM ministries in 1996. This medical outreach and ministry has been serving the people of Tanzania in East Africa. Dr. Steve Meyer will be bringing the message of how God led him into the mission field as a doctor and the continuing work God is doing through STEMM. He's also an Orthopedic Surgery specialist. Over the next 3 nights, we're going highlight our Gallatin FCC Mission Fair 2026 speakers. Our first speaker will be bringing the message Saturday Night for our 6:30 Saturday evening service. She's known in the area for her hard-work and dedication and service at Lighthouse Learning Center LLC. She's ran the daycare for over 18 years with passion and the love of Jesus. When she's not investing into daycare kiddos and staff, she's spending time with her boys, her grandkids and her husband. We're blessed to have her and look forward to her sharing her heart for the mission of our children in the community. Join us Saturday night to hear from Mrs. Becky Butler! Monday Motivation- Yesterday was a great day in the house of the Lord. As part of the service, the congregation prayed over the children's school backpacks, and Youth Pastor Kevin Atchison gave a back-to-school blessing over the children and school staff.
Pastor Ryan's message was the fourth in his "Lies of the Enemy" series, "Lie of Isolation." This lie says that we are better off alone, gives the enemy an advantage, and makes us more prone to believe lies we might otherwise reject in community. Truths are that the Church is God' answer to spiritual isolation and Jesus Himself entered our loneliness. We hope you enjoyed the series and remember to fight the lies of the enemy with the truth of God's Word. If you had any main takeaways from the series post below. Sunday is looking to a be a busy day with our normal worship service, nursing home service and the first youth group of the fall of 2026. We hope you'll make plans to join us as we ask God for His protection and blessing over the kiddos returning to school and the teachers and school staff who educate them. Pastor Ryan ends his series with a message entitled, "The Lie of Isolation." Make plans to join us and remember to bring the kiddos backpack so we can pray over them.
