Monday Motivation- Yesterday we recognized our seniors and prayed over them and gifted them with a study bible. We also finished our study of chapter 4 of James. In these last 5 verses of Chapter 4 of James, James warns about False Wisdom, Worldly Ambition, Self-Centered Confidence, sins of omission and a very strong warning against the desire to be self- sovereign. James instead calls followers of Jesus to follow Godly wisdom and to do what we're called to do. Our prayer is that you'll walk in obedience to the promptings of the Holy Spirit this week and stand firm against the world's ways. Have a great week church family.

It's graduate recognition Sunday this week. We have 9 graduates from local schools with connections to Gallatin FCC this year. We'll give them a gift, recognize them with a reception after service, and pray for them. We also continue on in our James series with a message that relates pretty well to both graduates and all people. Join us for a joyous Sunday morning!

Monday Motivation- Yesterday Pastor Ryan preached from James 4:7-12. This passage of Scripture implores followers of Jesus to submit yourselves humbly before God. James gave an outline that you submit to God through resisting the devil, drawing close to God, and repenting of sin. The last two verses focused on viewing others with humility by watching what we say and by checking our hearts for judgement. Continue to allow God to work in your life church family and have a great week!

A group from Gallatin FCC served at Open Door Food Kitchen in St. Joe last Friday. Alongside the staff, the group served roughly 210 plates of food and drinks to those in need of a free cooked meal. We thank the church congregation for the financial and food donations towards the ODFK as they serve meals 365 days a year in St. Joe.

Monday Motivation- Yesterday Pastor Ryan preached from James 4:1-6. The message focused on James looking at the causes of conflicts within us and the people around us. James stated that evil desires and worldliness are two of the main causes of conflict. The other focus was on the cure or solutions to conflict. James points towards God's Holy Jealousy towards His people, God's grace for His people and our need to be humble as the cure or solutions to conflict. We hope you sit in His grace this week knowing He wants that personal relationship with you.

Due to the generosity of our congregation we're able to do scholarships for youth who have ties or been impacted by Gallatin FCC. We have our own scholarship application that includes an essay. This year we had two applications and were able to give each applicant a $500 scholarship. Congrats Brynn Bird and Sullivan Bird.
