We were thankful to be in the Lord’s house today. Thank you, Eld. Adam Davis, for standing and preaching God’s word for us.

Today’s message was titled “Blood Before Water” from Isaiah 40:3 and Matthew 3:1-17.

We were reminded that John preached repentance before a large number of people, and the people were hungry for the truth of God.

Baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation. Those who are saved are washed and covered by the blood of Christ.

The lost sinner needs more than water to wash away sin. They need the blood of Christ. Only the blood of Christ will save.

June 17 at 6:30 PM: VBS Coordination & Prayer Meeting.
All volunteers please make sure to attend. Daily lessons, music, craft, food, and game details will be provided and discussed at this service.

June 20 at 9:30 AM: Decorating day for VBS. Anyone who is willing to help decorate the sanctuary, fellowship hall, and classrooms for VBS may stop by.

Happy Sunday, everyone! It’s a beautiful Lord's Day, and we can’t wait to see you at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church!

We have been praying and working hard, planning everything from writing lessons and organizing games to designing decorations, choosing music, and creating the shirt design!

As we dive into this adventure, we’re inspired by John 14:6: “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

⚓Vacation Bible School is only a few weeks away!⚓

Preparations are underway for a great week of Bible lessons, games, crafts, music, and fellowship as we Sail With Jesus.

Throughout the week, children will learn about:

🛟 The hope we have in Jesus Christ
💡 Letting their light shine for Him

We thank the Lord for another great day in His house at Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

Bro. Rick Wilson's message centered on Malachi 4:1-6 and the reminder that a last day is coming. Using scriptures from Malachi 4, 2 Timothy 3, 2 Timothy 4, Exodus 20, Isaiah 13:9-11, 2 Peter 3:10, and Ezekiel 33:11, we were reminded that God's Word does not change, sound doctrine still matters, and the Lord's return is certain.

The message encouraged God's people to give Him the honor and glory, stand upon the truth of His Word, and faithfully share the Gospel. We were reminded that while God is long-suffering and merciful, there is coming a day of judgment, and salvation is found only through Jesus Christ.

Following the service, we enjoyed a wonderful meal and fellowship together before our Fifth Sunday Singing. We were blessed by The Temple Singers, the Gammon Family, Sanctified, our church choir, and Alyssa's piano playing throughout the afternoon.

We are thankful for every visitor, every song, every prayer, and every opportunity to gather together in the Lord's house. Please continue to remember the many prayer requests mentioned during the service.

"As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live." Ezekiel 33:11

This week's challenge: Take a few minutes to read Exodus 20 and reflect on the Ten Commandments. In a world that is constantly changing, God's Word remains true.

Church family, we need your help!

VBS is only a few weeks away, and every child who attends starts with an invitation. If each church member invited just one child or family this week, imagine what the Lord could do.

Do you know a child who needs to hear about Jesus? A grandchild, neighbor, friend, classmate, or coworker's family? Don't assume someone else will invite them. Your invitation may be the one that makes the difference.

To give everyone a little more time to invite and register, we are extending the VBS registration deadline from May 31 to June 7.

Today we pause to remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

We are thankful for the freedoms we have, including the freedom to gather, worship, pray, and preach the Word of God.

The Bible says:
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
John 15:13

May we never take their sacrifice lightly. Let us remember their families, pray for our nation, and be thankful to the Lord for His mercy and grace.

Remembering with gratitude this Memorial Day.

Today was Homecoming and Decoration Day at Union Hill MBC!

Brother Monty Shoulders shared a message from 2 Peter 1:12-15, 2 Peter 3:1, Joshua 4:2-7 and 24, Hebrews 11:35 through 12:2, and 1 Corinthians 12:24-27.

He reminded us to remember what the Lord has done and used the illustration of an old church carpet and the marks left by faithful saints who worshipped, prayed, and served. It was a simple reminder that our actions matter and that everyone has a part to play.

We also enjoyed a meal together and Carol Scott's singing. Thank you, Carol, for sharing your God-given talents with us today.

Reminder: Next Sunday is our Fifth Sunday Singing. We will have regular service, then a meal and singing after service. The Temple Singers will be with us.
