As we head into Labor Day, there’s a lot to be thankful for.

Labor Day allows us to appreciate the work that often goes unnoticed. The long days. The early mornings. Providing for a family. Helping a neighbor. Serving others. God has blessed each of us with different abilities, responsibilities, and people to care for along the way.

But there is one thing none of us could ever work hard enough to earn: eternal life.

“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

That little word “gift” makes all the difference. Salvation isn’t a reward for working harder or being good enough. It is God’s gift through Jesus Christ.

So before the cookouts, family time, and day off tomorrow, come spend Sunday morning with us. If you know Jesus, come worship Him. If you don’t, come hear the Gospel and learn about the One who loves you and gave Himself for you.

Sunday School at UHMBC gives children and adults an opportunity to study the Bible, ask questions, join the conversation, and learn how to carry God’s Word into everyday life.

Good Sunday morning from Union Hill Missionary Baptist Church!

Sunday School begins at 10:00 AM, followed by worship at 11:00 AM. Our church business meeting will be held immediately following the service, so please make plans to stay if you can.

Please continue to pray for Union Hill and our pastor search. Pray for wisdom, unity, and that God will guide us to the right person to lead our church.

Just a reminder that our church business meeting will be tomorrow immediately following services.

Please make plans to stay if you can, and most importantly, continue to pray for Union Hill and our pastor search. Pray for God’s guidance and wisdom as we make decisions about the future of our church, and that we will seek His will above all else.
