Hebrews 11:28--By faith he (Moses) kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

Through Moses, God had performed nine devastating plagues on the nation of Egypt. Pharoah told Moses that Israel could leave after a few of the plagues, but would change his mind before they began the process. Plague #10 was to be the worst of all of them. Death was to come upon the firstborn of all men and livestock at midnight on a certain evening. Israel was given detailed instructions of what to do to prevent this from happening to them. God gave gave Moses detailed instructions and he told every detail to Israel. They followed every detail, therefore their firstborn was spared. There was great wailing throughout Egypt as death entered every house.

God has given us detailed instructions for our salvation. Many people want to use an alternate plan. Which plan are you on?

Exodus 22:25-27--"If you lend money to any of My people who are poor among you, you shall not be like a moneylender to him; you shall not charge him interest. If you ever take your neighbor's garment as a pledge, you shall return it to him before the sun goes down. For that is his only covering, it is his garment for his skin. What will he sleep in? And it will be that when he cries to Me, I will hear, for I am gracious.

Exodus 11:27--By faith he (Moses) forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.

Moses and Aaron made many trips to stand before the Pharoah of Egypt. Not only did they stand before him, through them many terrible disasters fell upon all of Egypt. Pharoah had the authority to have them taken away and executed. Moses did not fear. He had faith that God would protect him. Even though he could not physically see God, he saw His power and had faith that God would do what He said He would do.

That's faith!
