This year marks our 85th Encampment – a legacy of worship, holiness, community, memories, and friendships since 1940. We wanted a new shirt to celebrate this milestone. This shirt will help raise money for Camp Meeting.

These shirts are perfect to wear around Camp to show off your love for this special place and help keep the tradition going. Grab your shirt, wear it proud, and be part of the story that’s been going since 1940.

Please, preorder your shirts by July 1st. You can pick up your shirts during the week of camp. There will be extra shirts to purchase during camp for anyone who is not able to preorder. Direct your orders to me, Alivia.

“Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your king is coming to you; righteous and having salvation is he, humble and mounted on a donkey, on a c**t, the foal of a donkey.”

If you have been looking for a more streamlined way to support camp meeting, we have a great opportunity with Zelle! It’s an online, app that makes sending donations/gifts a little easier and less time consuming. As you well know, camp operates on the generosity of those that attend and the donations from year to year. Monthly expenses, emergencies, and other expenditures, make the in-between times of camp stressful. I wanted to share this new opportunity, in hope that it will gain traction as we prepare for the winter months and the maintenance that come with that. Please prayerfully consider! Thank you!

Today, we would like to extend a huge thank you to Camp President Wesley Johnson. The conclusion of the 85th Encampment marked the end of Brother Wesley’s 17 years of service to Brasher Springs as Camp President. Under his leadership, Brasher Springs has touched more lives than we could ever count. We are so grateful that God placed him at Brasher Springs!

Let Brother Wesley know how thankful you are for his many years of service!

We are just one week away from the 85th encampment at Brasher Springs!

Dear Campers,

Camp is just around the corner and preparations will soon be underway for this year's campmeeting. This year has been one of those years that we have struggled with natural destruction. Since last encampment, we have had three trees fall and cause damage to our facility. One fell directly on the front of the dorm and caused a considerable amount of damage. The roof was repaired, but the mess it caused inside has yet to be cleaned up and the ceiling repaired.

The second tree fell on the right corner of the J & J building. The roof was damaged along with a window or two. The third tree fell beside the dorm and ripped the powerline away from the building. New supply lines for the two meters have been installed at camp expense. They are now ready for the power company to come and tie us back into power.

We have had the finances to pay for these expenses, but they have depleted the money we use to prepare for camp. These expenses consist of brochure printing and mailing, liability insurance, and food bought to begin camp.

Now, with those expenses, we have one other that is very much needed for us to begin camp this year. The girl's dorm was being prepped for a bathroom renovation when the first tree hit. The money that could have been used for the renovation had to be given for the repair. The renovation will consist of two large water heaters(which are connected to the girl's and boy's bathrooms), two commodes, two sinks along with the walls that will divide the bathrooms from the sleeping area. The floor also needs to be replaced in the bathroom area. And I will mention again, the ceiling in the front of the dorm needs to be repaired.

This is not my favorite part of the job, soliciting funds, but to continue we must do what is needed to carry on the work that was started back in 1940. God has been faithful to provide through those who have been impacted by Brasher Springs Camp Meeting. I humbly ask you to consider helping us with these needs.

Sincerely,
Wesley Johnson
