It is the authoritative Word of God, without errors, or
contradictions. I believe the Bible was inspired by God, written by man for us to use to navigate
life, learn God’s will for our lives and to know of His love for us. God is the one true and living God who is omniscient (all knowing), omnipresent (present
everywhere), and omnipotent (all powerful). God is the head of the Trinity;: God the Fat
her,
God the Son, God the Holy Spirit and the Creator of everything (Genesis 1:2, John 1: 1-3). God
is perfect, just, holy, loving and eternal (Psalm 90.2, 1 Timothy 1:17). God loved us even though
we were sinners and sent His Son to die a brutal death in humanity’s place because of His love
(John 3:16, Isaiah 53). Jesus was God who took on human form as He stepped out of heaven off His throne to prepare for us a way to restore our brokenness from God. Jesus is the Lamb of God who was tempted, hungry and felt the same
emotions we do, yet never sinned. I believe Jesus really lived, died on the cross and walked out
of the grave alive three days later. He was seen by over 500 people over 40 days then ascended
to the right hand of the Father (1 Corinthians 15:6). We read in Acts 1:11 that Jesus will one day
return in the clouds as He did when He left. As God, the Holy Spirit can truly function as the
comforter and counselor that Jesus promised He would be (John 14:16, 26, 15:26). Jesus tells us
that the Holy Spirit is coming to help guide our lives and will give the power of God to those
who know Him (Luke 12:12, Acts 1:8 Romans 8:26-27). Our vision for our church is: Leading today's culture to Christ by teaching God's word through active ministry.
