Tomorrow is the 5th Sunday of the month of October which means we will have a time of anointing with oil and prayer for the sick. We profess no magic, but obedience to the book of James which reads, "Is anyone among you suffering? He should pray. Is anyone happy? He should sing songs of thanks to God. Is anyone among you sick? He should send for the church leaders and they should pray for him.
"They should pour oil on him in the name of the Lord. The prayer given in faith will heal the sick man, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven."

Next Sunday, November 7 we will observe All Saints Sunday. On this day we will read all the saints who have passed on this year since November 2020. A candle will be lit and a bell rung in their rememberance.

Tomorrow a celebration of the Resurrected Christ will be held at 125 E. Payne Ave at the First Presbyterian Church of Galion 12:00 sharp. Come hear the praise singing and teaching of the Word in our New Sanctuary. This is a day of new beginnings! Alleluia!
