Come, Holy Spirit!

On Pentecost, the Holy Spirit didn’t just show up… He launched the Church. The same apostles who were hiding in fear in the upper room walked out filled with fire, preaching the Gospel and baptizing in Jesus’ name. That’s why Pentecost is known as the “birthday of the Church” — the day the Body of Christ stepped into its mission.
Come, Holy Spirit. Do in us what you did in them.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

Historic Moment for America! The U.S. Catholic Bishops will consecrate the United States of America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 11, 2026 — ahead of the nation’s 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

This powerful act of entrustment will take place during the USCCB Spring Plenary Assembly in Orlando, Florida. The Bishops will concelebrate Mass and offer the entire country to the love and mercy of Jesus’ Sacred Heart, making Him effectively as King of the country.

The initiative invites all parishes and individual Catholics to participate through 250 Hours of Adoration and 250 Works of Mercy in preparation. The consecration will be livestreamed on the USCCB YouTube channel.

In a world that often feels divided and distant from God, this is a beautiful reminder of our need to place our nation under Christ’s kingship and trust in His Sacred Heart.
