A New Years' message from The Rock Apostolic Community Church about looking to the future.

Looking to the Future - Ready, Set, Reflect….
As children, many of us played a running race game. To start the race, a designated “non-runner” would line up runners at a starting point and then shout to begin the race, Ready, Set, Go!! A new year often brings great hope and anticipation of what may lie in the near future. Yet, it may also produce and promote anxieties as to the outcome of those hopes. It is important to not rush into the new year without appropriate reflection on your spiritual life. In prayer and meditation, ask the Holy Spirit what areas of your life need spiritual elevation. Next, fully put your trust in Christ who will never, ever fail you. Deuteronomy 7:9 says, “Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;”. Our God has the ability to transform our life into one that brings Him glory. We don’t have to live beneath our privilege as children of the Most High. Our New Year’s resolution should be to “trust and obey”, for it is the only way to ensure success in our future.

Merry Christmas Eve to All in Jesus's Name!

I would love to remind you that we, The Rock Apostolic Community Church, is having a very special Christmas worship service tomorrow. We hope to see you there :)

Good afternoon to All in Jesus's Name,

I would like to invite you to our very special Christmas worship services, happening on Sunday, December 25th at 12 P.M. Central Time. Alongside our usual service activities, we will be focusing on the celebration of Jesus Christ's birth! This will include Christmas hymns and music emphasizing Jesus's birth. What we want our message to be this worship service is the focus on God's promise and plan of redemption for the human family. The birth of Christ.

Having the opportunity to share Christmas in this way, with the community of Mary Allen West residence, we at The Rock find it a ministerial joy, a fulfillment of our assignment, and a purposeful way to lift up Jesus Christ as we celebrate with this community: His first advent.

Greetings to all in Jesus Name,

As a result of our hosting a ‘Diaper Drive,’ here in the community of Galesburg for the local Diaper Bank, ‘Loving Bottoms.’ And, with the contribution of diapers and monetary donations given by members of our community and leadership of the Central Congregational Church. Along, with our Church’s deepest gratitude to our community Wal-Mart Store and their management team that also contributed with a donation that was used in the purchasing of diapers in the sizes that were most needed.

With that we were able to give to Loving Bottoms from the Diaper Drive held on the 19th of June the following:

Baby diapers: 1,211

Baby wipes: 1,400

Women’s Hygiene Products: 186

We would like to thank everyone who donated with us, and wanted you to know that your act of kindness has not and will not go un-noticed. In addition, thank you very much for making our first hosted ‘Diaper Drive,’ an outreach event that will provide assistance to our neighbors through Loving Bottoms, which have found themselves in need.

Don't forget will be hosting a diaper drive in collaboration with Loving Bottoms Diaper Bank next week on June 19! Please drop by and donate diapers and various adult absorbent products.
The biggest need at this time is newborn diapers, Size 5 diapers, Size 6 diapers, all Pull-up sizes, and baby wipes.

We are pleased to announce we will be hosting a diaper drive in collaboration with Loving Bottoms Diaper Bank in two weeks. Drop by to donate diapers, and various adult absorbent products to those in need.

Praise the Lord! In light of current events surrounding the healthcare crisis, The Rock will be having a short prayer service today beginning at our usual worship service time of 1:00 pm.
