Today, manna represents daily provision, spiritual nourishment, and the necessity of trusting God one day at a time. Just as the Israelites couldn’t live off the manna from the day before, we can’t live spiritually off the word we read and heard yesterday.

We maintain faith by hearing, reading, and putting the Word of God into practice every day!

Last Sunday, we started working through some beliefs about healing that we hear on a regular basis.

Healing can be a scary subject sometimes. Maybe we believe that God can heal, but we don’t know if He will heal us. We may question if healing is still available for us today. We don’t understand why certain things happen and, honestly, we don’t have all the answers.

However, we can’t base our beliefs about God on the experience of this fallen world. God’s Word is either true or it’s not. He is either consistent or He’s not.

Based on what we see in the Word of God, we believe that He can heal, He will heal, and we are healed.

Jesus came to make us whole! We are made up of three parts, and Jesus came to heal every part of us: spirit, soul, and body.

Spirit - the real us on the inside that connects to God

Soul - our mind, will, and emotions tied together with the spirit

Body - the physical flesh that allows us to live here on the earth
