Route 66 Small Wedding Chapel The Wedding Chapel on Route 66 205 S. Main St. It was built for Elopement type weddings but larger outside weddings are common.

Galena, Kansas is believed to be the smallest Wedding Chapel in World in use holding the Bride, Groom, Minister and 5 guest.

If nothing drastic bends or breaks this Sunday's Service will be in front of the Little Wedding Chapel with four wooden walls and a floor plus comfortable seats.
The roof won't be finished but there will be one which is kinda of soft. I am going to leave it for a while as the second coming we are going to be taken up to Heaven and I've bumped my head on many ceilings and it hurts, so I guess it's my safe exit plan.

We have been working to make the Wedding Chapel surrounding more beautiful. Our goal is to have it reopened on February 14, 2026 for vow renewals in the World's Smallest Wedding Chapel. The surrounding area may not be finished but that is our goal. The weather has had a big part on working back there and since it is 8 degrees we hope the temp. will rise this week. What better date than Valentine's Day and actually we will be charging less than a dozen roses or a box of chocolates.
