We’re staying in John 8 this Sunday.

After the woman caught in adultery, after “neither do I condemn you,”
the religious leaders push back hard on Jesus’ authority.
And Jesus says something they weren’t ready for.

We’ll be in John 8:21–30. Come ready to think about what it means
that he is the “I Am” — and what happens when you start to believe it.

Our kiddos have had an awesome week at VBS!!

They’ve learned four big ideas:

God always makes time for us.

God gave us gifts that make a difference.

God makes us stronger together.

We make God known when we share our story.

The law has three jobs.

A curb — to keep you from going somewhere you shouldn’t.
A mirror — to show you exactly what you’ve done.
A guide — to show you how to live.

The Pharisees brought the woman to the mirror. Jesus gave her the guide.

“Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more.”

The grace came first. The direction followed.
That’s always how it works.
