🤍 The Way: Virtual Trauma Support Group
Wednesday June 3, 7 - 9 p.m.
The goal of the Trauma Support Group is to help improve your day-to-day functioning. Rather than focusing on the recovery of repressed memories, this group focuses on helping you to live effectively in the present. Drawing on trauma research and evidence-based models for healing from trauma, this group will provide opportunities for learning new tools to address difficult emotions, internal conflict, and cognitive distortions. Saturday June 6, 4 - 6:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows in Takoma Park (Parroquia Nuestra señora de los dolores)

Hosted in collaboration with the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle, the Shrine of the Sacred Heart DC / Santuario del Sagrado Corazón DC, and the Jesuit Refugee Service/USA, Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Menjivar, followed by a Eucharistic Procession across the city.
