🌎💚 Happy World Environment Day! 💚🌎
Today, we celebrate the gift of God's creation and our shared responsibility to care for the Earth. We believe it is our duty as humans to be stewards of the earth, and care for all life on it.
From the beauty of forests and oceans to the wonder of wildlife and the changing seasons, the natural world reminds us of the creativity, abundance, and interconnectedness of life. As people of faith, we are called to be good stewards of this sacred gift, protecting and preserving it for future generations to enjoy.
World Environment Day invites us to reflect on the ways our choices impact our planet and our neighbors. Environmental justice is also a matter of social justice, as the effects of climate change and environmental degradation often fall most heavily on vulnerable communities. Whether through conservation, advocacy, education, or simple everyday actions, each of us can play a part in building a healthier, more sustainable world.
May we continue to nurture hope, inspire action, and work together for the flourishing of all creation.
