"Good Friday"- seems like a misnomer, right? The darkest day in history can't be good, can it?
When he bore our sins, it was the greatest good for our behalf. He took the punishment we deserve.
Our Savior had died, bearing our sins and dying in our place. He was the embodiment of everything good, and he had died.
But death is defeated and Sunday is coming....

Tonight at 7:00pm, we'll commemorate our Lord's last supper with his disciples as he contemplated the upcoming days.
Join us for a quiet service as we prepare for the Resurrection Celebration to come.

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”
Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the[a] covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. 29 I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”
When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives.

You DO NOT want to miss this exciting night this Saturday at 6:00pm! Amazing fellowship, amazing food, and amazing music!

We were so happy to host the Mulberry Association’s multi-church revival tonight. We changed it up a bit and had a bluegrass theme to the music.

This Sunday immediately after morning services we'll have a Soup-er Bowl Sunday fundraiser featuring homemade chili, potato soup, cornbread, and sandwiches as well as delicious homemade desserts.
Please join us for a warm meal and support our building fundraising efforts!
