Hello everyone! We seem to be on a roll, with 12 students in Confirmation class last Wednesday and 13 students in Sunday school this morning!! Just a reminder that our regular youth meeting time in Sundays is now 3-5 PM. Pastor John and Pastor Kay will see you in the youth room upstairs this afternoon!

Pastor John wanted to share some more information with you about Sunday’s youth event. You may not be familiar with the term “Bridging,” but it’s a formal recognition that some of our students are now old enough to be called YOUTH!! Yay!!

All youth are invited to attend—in fact, I’m really hoping that some of our veterans will be on hand this Sunday … you know, to show the newbies the secret youth handshake and such.

Anyway, you’re invited to come over to Pastor John's new home (send a messagr if you need the address) from 5:00-7:00 PM this Sunday, August 20, for swimming, a cookout, and a devotional time to celebrate the new school year and welcome the newest youth to our group.

Our new place has lots of space to spread out, so we will also have room for lawn games if you’d like to bring your favorite. (I have it on good authority that some of you are wicked whiffle ball players, so bring it on.)

I’ll supply hotdogs, hamburgers, buns, and fixings. You bring your favorite side and drink to share.

If you have any questions or need directions, please don’t hesitate to call/email/text Pastor John.

We will have our youth pool party tomorrow at the Sebade's house, 4 - 7 p.m. We'll have hotdogs and hamburgers. To help plan for food, please let me know if your youth will be attending, and please let me know if they will need a ride from the church.

Work day #2...the boys are continuing to hang sheetrock at the Domino house. The girls moved to a different house and have been pulling up old flooring and prepping for sheetrock (aka pulling out nails and screws from the studs). Too hot and too tired to take pictures 😂
