☕ STIR IT UP ☕
This morning I poured creamer into my coffee but forgot to stir it.
The creamer was there.
The coffee was there.
But the coffee still looked black.
Why?
Because what was already in the cup had not yet been mixed in.
That’s how many of us live.
We pray for gifts we already have.
We ask for strength that’s already within us.
We seek purpose that God has already placed in our hearts.
The gift is there.
The calling is there.
The potential is there.
But until you stir it up, it can lie dormant.
Paul told Timothy:
“Fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you…”
— 2 Timothy 1:6 (NIV)
You don’t always need more.
Sometimes you need to stir what God has already given you.
Today, stir up your faith.
Stir up your gifts.
Stir up your courage.
Stir up your dreams.
The change may already be in the cup.
