Registration is open for the 2026 Anniversary Celebration!
Couples observing a 25th, 30th, 35th, 40th, 45th, or 50th (or more) wedding anniversary between January 1 - and December 31, 2026, are invited to participate in the 2026 Anniversary Celebration with Bishop Erik Pohlmeier on Saturday, November 14, at 1 p.m. with Mass and a light reception. The celebration will be at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Orange Park. Couples may register at family.dosafl.com or by calling (904) 208-6963.

Third Friday Concert: A Walk Through Salvation History

Friday, September 18 | 7 p.m.

📍 St. Patrick Catholic Church, Gainesville

Join St. Patrick Catholic Church for its Third Friday Concert, featuring sacred chant and choral music spanning five centuries, performed by singers from across North Central Florida and directed by David Schnoor.

The evening begins with Evening Prayer (Vespers) at 6:40 p.m., followed by the concert at 7 p.m.

Experience the beauty of sacred music and prayer through this unique musical journey through salvation history.

This event is free, but a freewill offering is welcome!

📖 Did you see the exciting sanctuary updates in this weekend’s bulletin?

✨ Sanctuary Updates Coming! ✨

Thanks to the generosity of donors, St. Patrick’s is blessed to receive a beautification of our sanctuary. The following updates will be made:

1. Tabernacle move. The tabernacle will be moved to the center of the sanctuary on a newly constructed tabernacle stand. The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Christian life (CCC 1324). By moving the tabernacle to the center of the sanctuary, we are more effectively showing that Jesus is the center of our parish life. 🕊️

2. Crucifixion mosaic. A custom, hand-cut marble mosaic above the tabernacle, depicting the crucifixion scene. ✝️

3. St. Patrick mosaic. A custom, hand-cut marble mosaic of St. Patrick in the niche that currently holds the tabernacle. 🍀

4. Wall expansion. A setback expansion of the wooden background in the sanctuary wall. The wall expansion will be up-lit and will allow more room for the mosaic above the tabernacle, while also hiding the view of the A/C ducts. 🧱

5. Altar pillars. The altar will have four white pillars added. This will match it with the ambo and tabernacle stand, while also making it more visibly prominent in the sanctuary. ⬜

6. Lighting updates. The chandeliers will be dimmable. The old spotlights and their racks will be removed from the rafters. 💡

🙏 We are grateful for the generosity of our donors and look forward to these beautiful updates to our sanctuary!

donde pudimos profundizar en las raíces de nuestra fe y compartir un cálido espacio de fraternidad.
