Coral Ann Cooper of Gainesville is one of 14 local youth who graduated from the Seminary program of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on Sunday night. Seminary classes for high schoolers are taught before school or in the evening. She was a student at PK Yonge, with dual enrollment at Santa Fe College, so this ceremony was her third graduation within a few weeks. In addition to learning more about the scriptures and faith in Jesus Christ, she found that seminary also taught many life lessons. One teacher talked about “pokeyoking,” the practice of preparing everything possible in the evening, so that in the morning one can just go. Sister Cooper has been called to serve as a missionary in Campinas, Brazil.
