To borrow the words from our friends at Wellroot Family Services: "Care takes root in many ways. 🌱 For a parent facing a difficult season, it can mean compassionate support. For a child, it can mean nurturing care. For a young adult transitioning from fostercare, it can mean the guidance to build a brighter future.
Through the , churches help Wellroot walk alongside Georgia’s children, youth, and families with care rooted in faith."

On September 13th Antioch UMC will take a special offering for Wellroot Family Services to support the amazing work they do throughout Georgia. This is a time to make a gift in honor of those who you hold dear as well as remember that the work of the church spreads beyond our walls.

For the week that it has been, I am ready to be in worship with all of you tomorrow. Through your prayers and concerns for members of our congregation, you have been the church in word and deed this week. Tomorrow we will continue our series on the Foundations of Faith as we look to the person of Jesus.

Tomorrow will be a good day in the life of the church. We will recognize our elementary school kids by presenting them with Bibles. We will begin a conversation about the Foundations of Our Faith and explore what God means to us. I look forward to being in worship with you.
