Friends and family, as most of you know by now our dear Pastor, Phillip Ford, was in a terrible car accident a little over a week ago. We are thankful he survived the initial injuries, but there are complicating issues that need a Godly intervention. We are asking everyone in our church, as well as our community, to come together and pray. The Bible says that where two or more are gathered in His name, there He will also be. Tonight at 6pm, we will be having a time of corporate prayer for our Pastor's recovery, believing that he can be back with us soon. There is an immediate need for God to intervene as only He can do. There will also be prayers for the medical team and the Pastor's family. According to James 5:15, the prayer of faith will save the sick, and God will raise him up. If you cannot make tonight's prayer service, please continue to lift our Pastor up in your daily prayers for total and complete healing in Jesus Name.

Please join us here at The River Community Church, as we pray for the Hall, Bryan, Cain, and Timms families after the passing of Chelsea Hall, the wife of Chestnut Mountain Church's Pastor, Brian Hall. Chelsea, was born into this church and was a bright and shining ray of sunshine for all that knew her. Later on in life, she grew to be the epitome of faithfulness to her Savior, her family and her friends. She loved God, with every fiber of her being and we grieve for the loss of such a precious wife, mother, daughter, aunt, and friend. The Bible tell us in Psalm 46:1 - 'God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble'. We know as Christians that God will never leave us, nor forsake us, he will always be there in our time of sorrows. We pray right now that God wraps his arms around this precious family to comfort them, and give them peace.

We're still celebrating!! The Easter Egg Hunt at The River Community Church will go down as epic!! God blessed with a beautiful day that was spent with beautiful people. We truly hope everyone enjoyed the festivities and mark their calendars to be with us for next year's hunt!!

Over 5000 eggs + tons of excited children + bounce houses + Jeremiah's Italian Ice + pizza = an AMAZING Saturday spent at our annual Easter Egg Hunt!! We'd like to shout out a huge thank you to everyone that showed up to participate. We look forward to seeing you all next year!!

Church family, tomorrow is going to be a great day! Please join us as we worship the Lord Jesus Christ. Sunday School begins at 9:30 and Morning Worship at 10:30. 9:00-9:30 we’ll be serving sausage biscuits and gravy. I am excited about preaching the gospel and I have a message that you need to hear.
