It is with great sadness that we share in the loss of Stanley Wright. Stanley was a dedicated member of our Board of Trustees. He not only worked tirelessly for Good Samaritan Food Ministries, but he always had a story to tell. One full of the greatness of Jesus. He supplied so many of our clients with a copy of God's Word through the Gideon Ministry. Stanley loved to play golf and was a great part of our golf tournament fundraiser.

Our prayers continue for his wife, Pat and their family.

We will miss Stanley, but celebrate that he is with his Savoir, Jesus.

We handed out our first sack lunches this week. Your response has been a great one. We are in need of assorted individual bags of chips! Let’s make these kids smile this summer!

Good Samaritan is excited to be collecting gentle used kids books this summer! If you would like to help, please drop off your donations Monday-Friday, 8am-noon, at 1220 McEver Road Gainesville, GA 30504. Our office is closed on Fridays, so donations brought on that day can be dropped off at the food center building. Thank you!

Get to know the people of Good Samaritan!

Clyde began serving at Good Samaritan in 2013. He has served in several areas including, counseling, praying with people, picking up furniture, driving a truck for food pick ups etc. He is a great help with our annual golf tournament as we raise funds to purchase food. Clyde said, “I really enjoy helping people in need and praying with people.” Clyde attends Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. Thank you Clyde for your service at Good Samaritan Food Ministries and for your leadership as the Chairman of our Board.
