communities. Welcome To the official Website for the Gainesville Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. We are pleased that you are interested in learning more about the programs and initiatives of our Fraternity. We invite you to visit our website frequently in order to stay

connected to how we are working to transform lives and impact our community through committed service. On behalf of the members of the Gainesville Alumni Chapter, we welcome you to our official virtual home. We are committed to implementing the national initiatives of Kappa Alpha Psi in the tri-county area of north central Florida. The Gainesville Alumni Chapter strives to enhance the lives of young men in our community and prepare them for the future. The chapter promotes youth literacy through educational activities and partnerships. Community support of the chapters fundraising events, such as the Black & White Ball and the White linen Affair, has allowed us to award over $2,000 in scholarships to deserving high school seniors annually over the past twenty four years. has been a contributor to the professional lifestyle in our community through social and civic participation and has added value to the growth and development of the residents of Marion, Alachua and Columbia counties. Members of Gainesville Alumni are committed to serve for life. We have active members in our chapter with more than 50 years of membership in the Fraternity. There is a vast amount of career diversity in our membership. Men initiated into Kappa Alpha Psi through the Gainesville Alumni Chapter are called to achievement in all fields of human endeavor. Gainesville Alumni extends its leadership training and mentorship to the collegiate level by supervising the undergraduate chapter at the University of Florida, The Zeta Phi Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi. Supported by our wives (Silhouettes) and significant others, we will continue to sponsor and participate in social events that address community health issues, scholarship Galas and educational programs. The Gainesville (FL) Alumni Chapter proudly shines the spotlight on Brother Terry Lee II, an accomplished Human Resources professional, mentor, and leader who continues to make a meaningful impact wherever he serves.

Recently, Brother Lee had the opportunity to share his experiences and impart valuable life lessons to students through Norfolk State University’s SP3 (Promise to Persist with Purpose) Program. Through his words of encouragement and wisdom, he challenged students to embrace purpose, remain persistent, and recognize that their potential is limitless.

Brother Lee’s commitment to inspiring the next generation reflects the very essence of Achievement in Every Field of Human Endeavor. His passion for service, mentorship, and developing others exemplifies the noble ideals of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.

♦️Community Impact: May Room 2 Read♦️

As we close out the school year, Gainesville (FL) Alumni Chapter and Silhouettes wrapped up our Room 2 Read efforts with love and service—providing pizza for students at Stephen Foster and goodie bags for students at Lake Forest.

This is a meaningful close, especially as Stephen Foster prepares to permanently close. We are grateful for every moment shared with students and staff throughout the year.

With Florida recently ranked among the lowest in the nation for reading performance, our commitment to literacy and encouragement matters now more than ever. Service like this is about more than moments—it’s about impact.

Thank you to the Brothers of GAC, Zeta Phi, and our Silhouettes for showing up consistently for our children and our community.
