Joyful Giving in a New Season

God has richly blessed us with our new church home, and we are incredibly close to a major milestone. We are roughly $30,000 away from fully reaching our two-year capital campaign goal! Completing this campaign now will allow us to celebrate this massive achievement and cleanly pivot toward our next faithful stewardship steps: meeting our new ministry costs and aggressively reducing our construction debt.

While these quieter summer weeks in Gainesville give us a wonderful window to iron out the transition details before our Grand Opening on August 22 & 23, they are also the weeks where final construction payments are made and our full mortgage and increased operating expenses begin. It’s been a minute since we’ve shared construction updates. The construction partners have all been doing fantastic work! Currently flooring and landscaping are going in. Believe it or not we are just weeks from worshipping in our new sanctuary by the end of June! All are welcome every Sunday with worship at 10:30 AM for these last services in our current worship space that’s been our worship home for over 50 years and as we move into our new worship sanctuary—God be praised!

Something new is growing at Zion 🌱

Sprouts is a brand-new purposeful play program within Zion’s Smart Start ministry, designed for children from birth through preschool — alongside the grown-ups who love them most.

Each session is intentionally designed to encourage:
🎨 creativity
📚 language and literacy
🎵 music and movement
🧩 sensory exploration
🤝 social interaction

As part of Smart Start, Sprouts is more than a kids program — it’s a place for families to learn, connect, and grow together in a welcoming Christian environment.
