Tucked into 367 acres of North Georgia woods, just up the road in Dahlonega, sits Camp Glisson, our United Methodist camp surrounding Cane Creek. They just celebrated 100 years of ministry.
What Glisson does is help young people experience the Christian faith as something alive and meaningful. A community experience of small groups, cabin life, worship under the trees, the kind of friendships that have a way of lasting well past the bug spray running out. I've watched kids come home from a week there, different than when they left. More themselves. More open to God.
