Strength isn’t just about being tough: it’s about being real. This Men’s Mental Health Month, we want to share a simple truth: there is so much power in vulnerability!

In our community here in Gainesville, we know that life can get heavy. Often, men are told to keep it all inside, but we believe that reaching out is one of the bravest things you can do. At Grace Presbyterian Church, we strive to be a safe, progressive space where you can show up exactly as you are. Whether you’re celebrating a win or struggling through a hard season, you belong here.

You don’t have to carry the weight alone! We’d love to welcome you to our worship service this Sunday at 11:00 a.m. You can join us in person or tune in to our live stream right here on Facebook. Let’s look out for one another and find strength in our shared journey.

Let’s celebrate freedom together, Gainesville!

We are so excited to join our neighbors for the 'Journey to Juneteenth' events and the Freedom Fest at Bo Diddley Plaza. At Grace Presbyterian Church, we believe deeply in justice and freedom for every single member of our community. It’s a joy to honor this historic journey and reflect on the work still ahead of us.

Our hearts are full as we stand with our city in celebration of liberation and hope. We invite you to be part of the festivities and then come by to see us at 3146 NW 13th St! Whether you’ve been part of our family for years or you’re looking for a progressive, welcoming space to call home, our doors are open to all.

Let's keep building a community where everyone belongs and everyone is free. See you at the plaza!

Our faith calls us to open our hearts and our doors wide! At Grace, we believe that practicing welcome is an active, daily journey, especially when it comes to our immigrant neighbors.

We are feeling so inspired by the PC(USA)’s Practicing Welcome resource! It reminds us that standing with immigrants, refugees, and asylum seekers is a beautiful expression of our faith. As a progressive and inclusive community here in Gainesville, we want to move from prayer into local action!

How can we as a congregation better support our immigrant neighbors right here in Alachua County? Whether it's through local advocacy, partnering with awesome community organizations, or sharing our resources, we want to hear your ideas for practical steps we can take together.

Gainesville is a vibrant place because of its diversity! We want to ensure everyone feels they truly belong. Let’s continue to be a sanctuary of love and justice for all. Please share your thoughts or local organization recommendations in the comments below!

Did you know that right here in Alachua County, nearly 1,000 children are currently lacking stable housing?

Our hearts are heavy as we face the reality of the housing crisis in Gainesville. At Grace Presbyterian Church, we believe that every child deserves a safe place to sleep and every family deserves the security of a home. This isn't just a policy issue, it's a community calling!

We are joining the local push for greater collaboration and advocacy to support our unhoused neighbors. It’s time to come together to find sustainable solutions that ensure no family is left behind. We are so grateful for the awesome local organizations working tirelessly on this front, and we stand with them in this mission.

Please join us in praying for these families and speaking up for affordable housing in our city. Together, we can build a community where everyone truly belongs!
