Please note - starting June 28th the worship service will be held in the church fellowship hall since the sanctuary air conditioner is in disrepair. It will be several weeks before the a/c can be replaced. We apologize for the inconvenience - but the a/c works well in the fellowship hall.
Sympathy to the following families:
Dennis Glenn Canada passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at the age of 76. Glenn is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brenda Canada and son, Chris Canada. Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mike Stargel, age 80, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026. Mike was the cousin of Becky Herrington and Margie DeLay, Memorial service will be held in the chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, June 26, at 11:00 a.m. Funeral service to be conducted by Jim DeLay.
Also pray for the family of Martha Zollar, 67, longtime local WDUN Radio host, who passed away unexpectedly yesterday at NEGMC.
Funeral service for Allison Taylor's father, Bob Yarbrough, will be held on Saturday, June 27th, at 11:00 a.m., at Lakewood Baptist Church.

Juanita Hatcher & daughter Anita Sneath (cancer - not doing well)
George Hatfield - reinjured his shoulder and will have to undergo surgery again - on Thursday, June 25th
Glendon Hatfield - at NEGMC undergoing tests
Dianne Martin - underwent medical procedure (test) on Monday - good results
Randall & Judy McIntyre - Randall still having problems walking
Danny Meeks & Martha - Danny undergoing brain cancer treatment
Nancy Merck - broken wrist from a fall
Eli & Glenda (Allen Chatham) Morrow - in two separate health facilities
Ben & Jean Pethel - (Jean good results from lumpectomy)

Cooper Brown - A 2024 graduate of Johnson High School who underwent surgery for brain bleed on May 8th, and had irreversible brain damage. Outlook was not good; however, he has been transferred to the Shepherd Center and is making slow progress. Cooper's parents (Tamara & Ken Brown) and grandparents (Joan & Ed Shive) are dedicated believers and are praying for a miracle - please join them in prayer for the healing of their son.
