We had our end of year event and Sisterhood business meeting in June, with about 36 (double chai!!) of our members present. We had delicious food, an inspiring speaker from LJD Jewish Family and Community Services in Jacksonville, mini Judaica sale, and our semi-annual business meeting, including installation of new Board members. We also shared “facts” about ourselves, with one being a fake … great way to learn about each other and what people think about us! Please join us for another full year of Sisterhood programs, events, and social action for 2025-26.

Thank you to everyone that came to our program yesterday! It was hosted by the B'nai Israel Sisterhood and Teach the Shoah. The morning was filled with delicious Hungarian food, learning, storytelling, and engaging activities for the audience. A huge thank you to Dr. Judy Stone for sharing her family's story of survival during the Holocaust. Thank you as well to my Sisterhood crew for helping me cook the delicious food!

I think, “and a great time was had by all” expresses the feeling about this weekend, with Sisterhood Shabbat and Breakfast with Barbar on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
Thank you to all of our Sisterhood Sisters who participated in the service and who prepared the lovely brunch on Sunday. We have a wonderful, diverse, and enthusiastic Sisterhood membership. Sharing a few photos from our lovely End-of-Year Sisterhood Brunch and Membership Meeting at B’nai Israel yesterday.
The delicious food was lovingly prepared by Sisterhood members and a dear friend, and many attendees helped with clean-up at the end … thank you!
We had a fruitful discussion during the business meeting about potential programs and events for the coming year, which begins July 1.

We had a lovely end-of-year Sisterhood event and membership meeting yesterday, with delicious appetizers, a Sisterhood Board and celebrity photo-matching contest (adult-child photos), family heirloom sharing, and impromptu dancing at the end!
Thanks to Nancy Miner and her team (Alicia Rudin, Margaret James, Jodi Oren, Linda Dassa … did I miss anyone?!?!) for planning and pulling off this fun afternoon.
