WHAT A SPECIAL SUNDAY AT ANTIOCH BAPTIST CHURCH! Today was a beautiful reminder that Antioch is more than a church… ANTIOCH IS FAMILY!
We had the privilege of celebrating our rich history, honoring our legacy, and remembering those who helped pave the way!
👑 A QUEEN AMONG US! We proudly recognized Mrs. Ruby Yarbrough as the Queen of ABC! At 91 years young, she holds the distinction of being our oldest living member! What a blessing to celebrate her life, faithfulness, and legacy!
🎂 A SPECIAL BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION! We celebrated Mrs. Bea Stephens, daughter of our beloved founder, Pastor John W. Evans, Sr. What makes her story even more remarkable is that she was born in the SAME MONTH AND YEAR that Antioch Baptist Church was founded! Talk about being a living part of our church’s history! ❤️
🌸 REMEMBERING THOSE WHO BLOOMED BEFORE US! We took time to honor and remember our beloved members and family whom God has called from labor to reward. In a beautiful tribute, flowers were planted in our Memorial Garden, reminding us that while they may be absent from our presence, their love, service, and legacy will forever bloom in our hearts.
85 YEARS OF FAITH. 85 YEARS OF FAMILY. 85 YEARS OF GOD’S FAITHFULNESS!
Antioch is FAMILY, and we are reminded week after week that God continues to be glorified through our love, commitment, and dedication to His people. We stand today because of those who came before us, and we remain committed to building a legacy for those who will come after us!
