The challenge extended to you is this: try on the helmet and sit on the motorcycle like young Beau, seeing what opportunities there are in the church. You’ll either learn more about it or discover your own calling!

Here's your Sunday Sermon!

Pastor Whit encouraged us Sunday with Deuteronomy 30:11-20, emphasizing the importance of choosing life and love for God. The word of God is accessible and close, not distant or difficult to attain. Choosing life means loving God and living in obedience, leading to blessings and prosperity, while rejecting God leads to destruction and death.

The Holy Spirit is God’s gift of His presence, helping us choose and live an abundant life. God desires to bless us with His life, and the church, through ministries like Stephen Ministry, aims to support individuals on their journey to wholeness and holiness. Confessing sins to one another and partnering with the Church are essential for experiencing God’s forgiveness and living a blessed life. Listen in...

Here's your Sunday Sermon!

Today, Pastor Whit emphasized the importance of living out one’s faith beyond Sunday worship. The sermon highlighted the Israelites’ journey after the Exodus, noting that their freedom was not the end but the beginning of a new life. The message encouraged us to continuously engage in spiritual practices like prayer, scripture reading, and service, likening them to the essential act of breathing. Listen in...

Here's your Sunday Sermon!

Today, Pastor Whit covered Psalm 66—a call to praise God for His awesome deeds and power. The psalmist invites all people to witness God’s works, recalling the Exodus and God’s provision for His people. The psalm also emphasizes the importance of remembering God’s past deeds and how they shape our present lives. We were challenged to testify to God's work in our own lives through our own stories. Its time! Listen in...

Here's your Sunday Sermon!

Today, Pastor Whit focused on Acts 7.54-60, contrasting Stephen, filled with the Holy Spirit, with the high council and Pharisees who reject Jesus. While Stephen preaches Jesus as the fulfillment of the covenant and the true authority, the council attempts to silence him, ultimately leading to his martyrdom. We were encouraged to examine our own lives, prioritizing Jesus as the center and living out our faith. Listen in...

I’m not telling you to be showy with your faith, but I am telling you to show your faith. Let the world see your love for God. Like the plant that’s visible to many so that many may enjoy and appreciate it, let God be on display to as many as possible, and pray that they may see His beauty becau...

Pastor Whit's message focused on John 10:1-10, exploring the metaphor of Jesus as the shepherd and the gate. We as Christians really are a tiny seed planted in a hard world, pushing through the weight in order to grow and produce. Are we fragile? YES! But do we as believers have the life of Jesus in us? YES! Therefore we may be hard pressed, but in Christ we push through, because it is the power of God in....

Here's your Sunday Sermon!

Today, Pastor Whit used an experience of quiet reflection to highlight the significance of answering "Am I living my life proving the blood of Jesus Christ is precious?" Using 1 Peter 1:17-23, he emphasized the temporary nature of life on Earth and the importance of living in reverent fear of God.
