Does loving someone mean always telling them what they want to hear?

Jesus showed us that love and truth are not opposites. Sometimes love comforts and encourages. Other times, it corrects, confronts, and tells us the hard truth.

As we heard Sunday, "Real love always does what is best for the other person—even when it hurts.”

Jesus didn't just teach this kind of love—He lived it.

Real love always seeks what is best for the other person, EVEN when it hurts.

Real love doesn't simply want you comfortable. It wants what is best for you.

Prayer isn't meant to be our last resort when we've exhausted every other option. God should be our first response.
