Today our kids in Little River and RiverKids learned that we can have hope in God’s Love. Kids learned that hope means trusting something good will happen, and God’s Love is definitely good. 💙

Read or listen to Numbers 21:4-9 and John 3:14-17 with your kids and then use these questions for discussion:

💙 Jesus said everyone who believes in Him will be rescued from sin and enjoy life with God forever. How does this give you hope?

💙 The Israelites had hope that God would rescue them, even when they made wrong choices. What can you do when you make wrong choices?

Today kids in Little River and RiverKids learned that can forgive us and make us whole again. Reread or listen to today’s Bible story with your kids: Luke 22:54-52; John 18:15-27, 21:12-19.

Remind kids that just like Jesus forgave Peter for denying Him three times, He forgives us of our sins. 🤍

Then, practice this month’s memory verse together: “As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.” Psalm 103:12

This week kids learned the Bible story of the lame man whose friends carried him on a mat to see Jesus. Surprisingly, Jesus forgave the man before healing him because forgiveness is what the man needed the most.

Then Jesus did indeed heal the man! We all sin and need God’s forgiveness, and He has made it available for everyone.

Read or listen to Mark 2:1-12 or Luke 5:17-26 with your kids and discuss these questions:

💙 How can moving from an old grade to a new grade feel like a fresh start?

💙 Jesus showed He has power to forgive sins and give a fresh start. Why is forgiveness such good news?
