It's an a amazing fact that throughout the entire 66 books of the Bible there is a clear and obvious harmony demonstrating that there is a Sovereign God Who has a plan that is being worked out 24 hours of every day. Nothing is random or merely left to chance. It is all part of a divine plan and purpose which is carefully being completely fulfilled down to the minutest detail. Even when men sometimes mistakenly attempt to control things themselves it quickly becomes clear that God has the final plan and the final answers to everything relating to our life and purpose here on earth. The 2nd Book of Samuel is one of those places in the biblical text where this becomes remarkably clear, even to the most casual reader. Watch and listen as Rev. Andrew D. Man's ways are not always God's ways. That is clearly evident in the passage of Scripture being expounded by Rev. Andrew D. Redman as he continues his ministry series in the book of 2 Samuel. David had good ideas and plans but the problem was that they did not align with God's plans and this was made very clear. Practically this applies to us today as very often our plans are not God's plans for us. Only when we are full surrendered to the Sovereign Lordship of Jesus Christ will we understand and allow His plans to be fulfilled through us as we walk in obedience to His Holy Will.
