The rain held off, and it was so nice to see both new and familiar faces this year. Considering how many we’ve lost over the past few years, it was especially heartening to see new people.
We raised $950 on Sunday and $1240 since the last decoration. Thank you to those who mail in their donations, we understand that not everyone lives nearby or can be here on this one day of the year, and we truly appreciate your continued support.
Huge thanks to the volunteers who painted the sign — it looked fantastic (and of course, I forgot to get a picture).
Also, it looks like someone from the Loftis family has been cleaning up some of their older stones — they look amazing. If you’re willing to share your method, we’d love to hear about it.
