Last week, some of our K-3 students had the opportunity to attend Vacation Bible School at Peace Lutheran Gahanna!

Through interactive lessons, fun games, and engaging activities, our students are learning about the Bible, growing in Christian values, and building meaningful friendships. We're so grateful to the Peace Lutheran team for creating such a joyful and faith-filled experience for our kids last week! 🧡

During our Ready, Set, GROW time this week we had the pleasure of sharing some of Pastor Dwight Hendrick’s phenomenal license plate collection. He had a strong passion for antique cars and was an enthusiast for collecting license plates. We miss Dwight dearly and we were so honored to share his love with the kiddos this week!

We also are thankful for members like Floyd Appleman. He generously made 5 licenses plate art pieces. These were on display all week, and on Friday we were able to raffle them off to our extremely hard working volunteers. Check out his work at RusticAppleArt

Our closing today was so amazing, that it needed its own post! First, we celebrated Flash Wheeler’s race victory 🏆 then we found out the grand totals for all the donations this week. These donations are going to our Weekend Supplemental Meal team that provides meals to local kids in Gahanna. We are blown away at your generosity and your determination to soak the Pastors!! It was SO much fun!!!
And that’s a wrap! We’re so sad the week is over, but we’re already getting excited for next year!! Make sure you join us again!

Day 5 was amazing! So many smiles and a lot of energy today!! It’s truly been an awesome week here at VBS! We hope everyone had a great time celebrating the end of the week at our family picnic.

We hosted our first car show at Peace this morning! It was a wonderful way to wrap up our VBS week of FUELED BY FAITH 🏁 Huge thank you to everyone who brought a car or truck! We had 18 cars, 2 motorcycles & 3 uniquely different trucks! Thank you to Mifflin Fire Department & the Columbus Fire Bomb Squad for bringing your super cool trucks and answering all our questions! God Fuels Us… VROOM VROOM!
