Congrats to the Gomez Family! Dylan Job was born the week before Thanksgiving. Mom and baby are doing well. Below is a link to sign up to bring them a meal. This is a great way to support the family and show the love of Jesus. I know they would appreciate it so much!

Gomez family welcomed their newborn baby boy!!!! Dylan Job was born last week!!! Congratulations to the Gomez Family!!!! Dylan weighed 7lbs. 3oz. and 19 inches long. Let's join together in welcoming little Dylan and helping the Gomez with meals!

This year, our church is participating together in a season of reflection and anticipation. We are following Jesus on his journey to the cross through prayer, fasting, and acts of service. Each Sunday we have been focusing on different parts of the life of Christ, starting with his temptation, the feeding of the 5,000, and today's passage, the Lord's Prayer. It has been been a beautiful time of community building and growing together.

Week 4: Love. What a wonderful season of advent this has been! We wrapped our last week by focusing on God's love, and how that love can flow to those around us. We wrote example of acts of love we have received on strips of paper that were made into a chain. We were blessed to have the children lead us in worship today as well!
"For God so LOVED the world, he gave his only begotten son that whoever believes on him will nor perish, but have everlasting light."

Advent week #3- JOY!! It was pure joy being able to fellowship in community today. The Iverson family brought our advent reading, we read about Zechariah and Elizabeth's Joy, and the congregation was gifted Joy ornaments. Praying you all can quiet the christmas noise this week and find the joy only Christ can give.

Week #2 Advent reading and candle lighting.
Peace is this weeks word. The congregation was given the opportunity to write out their longings and places in their life where they need the peace of Jesus on a slip of paper and place it in the manger. We ended our time with communion which is a sweet reminder and celebration of the Peace Jesus gave when he finished his work in the cross. "It is finished"...Shalom.

Last Sunday we started our Advent journey. It was a beautiful, rich time of worship that focused our hearts on the hope of Jesus through music, scripture reading, and an interactive prayer station. Ladies Movie Night! Join us us this Thursday, Feb 22 for a fun, relaxing night of fellowship. Continuing in the spirit of Valentine's Day, we will be watching Jane Austin's Emma, a light-hearted, romantic period piece (description in the comments). Wear your comfiest clothes (sweats and pj pants encouraged!) and bring your favorite snack. The church will provide popcorn and water bottles. Feel free to bring something else to share if you would like. The movie will start at 6:30 sharp. See you then!
