We regret to inform you of the passing of Janet Hampton.

Gaffney, SC - - Janet Perkins Hampton, 69, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Born in Canton, OH, she was the widow of the late Joe Mac Hampton, Jr. and daughter of the late Charles Albert Perkins and Virginia Zinn Perkins. She was a homemaker and a member of New Harvest Church of God. She was a faithful servant of the Lord, loved to read and sing in her church choir.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather Hampton Swayngim (Joseph III) of Gaffney; two sons, Joshua Daniel Hampton (Krystal) of Inman and Charles Caleb Hampton of Los Angeles; four grandchildren, Joseph MacKenzie Swayngim, Sara Swayngim Bradley (Mason), Isaiah Daniel Hampton (Cassie) and Abigail Grace Hampton.

The family will receive friends from 12:00PM until 1:00PM on Friday, June 19, 2026 at New Harvest Church of God. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00PM at the Church with Pastor Robert Wells officiating. Interment will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: New Harvest Church of God, 120 Boiling Springs Highway, Gaffney, S.C. 29341.

The family will be at their respective homes and humbly ask that you respect their privacy during this time.

Make plans to join us tonight for kickoff waterslide night! We will have pizza and waterslides for the kids. We also use this night as a night to pre-register your kids for our crusade so you will not have to worry about it the rest of the week! Hope to see you there tonight starting at 6pm!!

HEY EVERYONE!! Please be reminded of our Kids Crusade that will be happening for our kids ages 5-12! We will start off our Crusade with a Waterslide Kick-Off night with Pizza and Water Slides, so be sure to invite your friends and family members and remind them to bring a towel and a change of clothes!

We are looking forward to having Scott Tumblin and his team with us on June 4-5 to share the word and minister to our kiddos!
Dinner is served 6:00-6:30 each night, and Service will be from 6:30-8 nightly. There will be Music, Games, and Fun times in the Word of God this week, and we look forward to what God has in store. Make plans to be there!!
