What a joyous celebration today!
We know that God brought this precious couple to WHC and today we got to witness and stand in agreement with them as they dedicated their darling Della Claire to the Lord!

Christ goes into the wilderness for forty days. He takes no food, no pillow, no tent. There is no steeple, no worship music, no hymnal, no buddies, it’s him and God! Paul and Silas are chained to the wall in a dark horrible Roman prison. There is no pastoral care, worship music, or cushioned pews. Yet, in both instances pray and praise breaks the silence of the wilderness and the prison cell. When your, “going through it”, does pray and praise still break the silence of tragedy, turmoil, financial issues, marital conflicts, church hurt, and sorrow? The praise of Paul and Silas brought freedom to everyone around them. Praise him in the midst and freedom will come! The only visitor Christ had was the enemy, yet he left the wilderness and changed the world. Circumstance cannot and should not silence His people. -Shane

My thoughts: Are people hurting? Yes. Are marriages crumbling? Yes. Is the world in disarray? Yes. Are we preoccupied with temporary things? Yes. Are we dealing everyday and hurting deeply over our prodigal? Yes. Are people discouraged? Yes. Are families today considering leaving church all together? Yes. However in the midst of all those issues Jesus knows, He is coming, and HE NEVER changes. The reality is God is not waiting for His church to be engulfed with repentance or for me to no longer live in temporary distractions. He is not waiting for me to recover from church hurt. The King is not waiting for me to get my act together. The King is not waiting for the repentance of a nation. The King is coming and we must be ready for his triumphant call. Whatever emotion your dealing with or preoccupation that has your thoughts, The King is still going to come at a time that we expect him not! See you at 10am in the morning! -Shane

This Sunday, December 21st, our children will take the stage to share the story of Jesus’ birth, full of wonder, laughter, and joy.
After the program, we’ll have a short message to remind us what this season is truly about.

TESTIMONY SPOTLIGHT 🙌🏻

“You have not gone too far! He will always meet you in your filth! 12 yrs of drug addiction, depression, hopelessness. I thought I was destined for the worst! I was ashamed of everything I had done and the hurt that I had caused the ones that I loved dearly! May 28th 2018 Jesus interceded in my life! I began a journey of healing from years of pain and regret. He has made my life beautiful and prosperous! Day after day I have noticed a change in myself. I used to say I had a drug problem and that I had tried everything to get my life back together, but the truth is I had tried everything that I had control over to fix my life. I realized that I didn’t have a drug problem. I had a Jesus problem, I refused to allow the only doctor that could fix me to do what he does best! He heals those who give themselves to him! The moment I accepted Jesus into my life and gave him all aspects of my life. That’s the moment that my life changed forever! He is faithful and will be there with you through all of your battles! You just have to call upon him and give your will over to him!! Allow Jesus to work miracles in your life and the lives of those around you!!! Let Jesus live through YOU!” -Bobby Smith

NINE BAPTISMS! 😭🙏🏻
Heaven rejoices, and so do we! Sunday night, nine precious lives declared Jesus as Lord. Sons and daughters came home, and young people surrendered to His call! The Kingdom is growing! The Church is alive! God is moving mightily among us! All glory to Jesus, the One who makes all things new!
