Fathers, this is a great opportunity to connect with your sons on an overnight camping trip that will be filled with opportunities to worship, disciple and explore the 800 acres at WorldSong Mission Place. MeadowBrook has partnered with Heritage Builders and is looking for men and/or couples who would be advocates once a month on Thursday evenings for children who will be aging out of the foster care system. The program serves 14-22 year olds and provides them with dinner, games, a lesson on life skills and time with advocates to listen to their needs and concerns. Heritage Builders meet the first Thursday of every month from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM. To be an advocate, you can reach out to [email protected]. A background check is required for each person serving in the program. Come help us make a difference in the lives of teens and young adults in Etowah County!

MeadowBrook’s Uganda Mission Team left yesterday for their trip to train church planters. Help us pray for them in these ways over the next week!

Pray the Lord would watch over the team and the church planters who are traveling to the training to get them there safely and back home.

Pray for clear communication skills during the training lessons, that the church planters would internalize the truths from God’s Word that are being taught and apply them to their lives and ministry context.

Pray the Lord would use this training to strengthen the existing church in South Sudan and Uganda and further multiply faithful disciples of Jesus and local churches in both countries.
