ARE YOU AN EAGLE OR A BUZZARD?
Noccalula Church of God – Pastor Alan Hughes - 7/21/2024 am

Isaiah 40:28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, That the everlasting God, the LORD, The Creator of the ends of the earth, Fainteth not, neither is weary? There is no searching of his understanding. 29 He giveth power to the faint; And to them that have no might he increaseth strength. 30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, And the young men shall utterly fall: 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings as eagles; They shall run, and not be weary; And they shall walk, and not faint.
1. Burnout is all too COMMON.

2. God desires to fill us with His limitless power rather than leaving us to rely on our own faltering STRENGTH.

3. How do we avoid burnout?
Isaiah 40:31 promises new strength to those who wait on the Lord. God understands we are weak. But as we wait on the Lord, we exchange our weakness for His strength. Then, like the graceful flight of an eagle, our path through trials will be one with supernatural peace and power.

I hope everyone is enjoying the Wednesday night study. Just a reminder We will be on page 14. Article #3 of the Declaration of Faith. it says WE BELIEVE ... That Jesus Christ is the only ___________ Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead. He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father
as the intercessor. ( For extra credit fill in the blank in the comments)

The Church has been cleaned and prayed over. Every person has had their name called in prayer to Jesus Christ this morning. The church building is empty now. By this time tomorrow, I believe this house will be filled with the Holy Ghost. Noccalula Church of God is ready for Sunday! can I get someone to agree with me?
