Greater Than Construction

We came to western North Carolina expecting to repair homes.

God chose to repair hearts.

Mission Serve Week 2 reminded us again that the greatest work isn't always done with a hammer—it is done through the Gospel.
Throughout the week we watched students joyfully serve homeowners, pray over one another, encourage their youth pastors, share Jesus in restaurants and local businesses, and lay written confessions at the foot of the cross during our Concert of Prayer.
The week concluded with 11 first-time decisions to trust Christ and more than 20 recommitments from students and adults who desired to be "all in" for Jesus.
We're grateful for every conversation, every prayer, every repaired home, and every life touched by the power of the Gospel.
Jesus truly is greater.

As we celebrate our great Nation's 250th anniversary of our Independence Day, I pray that we will repent of living lives of independence apart from Jesus Christ & turn back to Almighty God! To God be the Glory! God bless America🇺🇸

Happy Memorial Day!!! How we praise God for the men & women who sacrificially gave their lives defending our great Nation in order that we might be free!!! As this Scripture passage says, there is "no greater love nor stronger commitment" that has been demonstrated by our brave soldiers!!!

More than seven decades ago, Billy Graham held a peace rally on the east steps of the United States Capitol building, urging America to turn to the Lord in prayer. On Feb. 3, 1952, an estimated 40,000 people gathered despite the rain to be reminded that in times of uncertainty, we’re called not only to reflection, but to repentance and renewed faith.

“All you have to do is open your heart and let Christ come in,” Mr. Graham said. “Believe on Him, receive Him with all of your heart, make Him Lord and Master and King.”

Within two days, legislation was introduced in the House of Representatives and passed by unanimous vote after committee action. In April 1952, President Harry Truman signed the joint resolution into law, establishing the National Day of Prayer. Today, go to God with bold faith and pray for our nation.
