Announcements August 24
All women of the church are invited to our next Women’s Group meeting on Saturday, September 12th, beginning at 9:30am in the Parish Hall. We’ll share breakfast, enjoy devotions, hold our meeting and complete one last project for the Holiday Bazaar. Please go to Women's Group Breakfast Sign-Up on the church website or call the church office to let us know what you might like to bring or how you might help. Also, a reminder to let Judy Hewitt know when you are available to help with no-sew blankets. We hope you can join us!
Hygiene Kits – Sponsors are needed to provide toiletry items for men & women for On the Move Homeless Outreach. Each kit includes a toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, deodorant, soap, shaving cream, shampoo, washcloth & sanitary pads for women and will cost $10.00 per kit. Items will be purchased by Karen Jennings & Sue Bell. They will be assembled on Sunday, September 20th. You can donate 3 ways: by putting your donation in an envelope clearly marked “Hygiene Kits” and placing in the offering plate, placing an envelope in the Social Outreach mailbox in the church office OR donating online. Be sure to designate your donation for Social Outreach using the drop-down menu.
RALLY DAY is coming SEPTEMBER 13th! Please plan to join us for an ALL CHURCH Ice Cream social in the parish hall following worship! SUNDAY SCHOOL is scheduled to begin on September 20th - more details to come.
HOLIDAY BAZAAR – The St. Paul’s Women’s Group is hard at work preparing for this year’s Holiday Bazaar. The date is Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Many of our favorite craft vendors are returning, including Homespun Country, Clay & Crochet, Old Stuff & Nonsense, Madison Expressions and more. We’re also welcoming wonderful new vendors such as What’s in a Candle, Cowell Painted Porcelain, Peaceful Completion and others.
This year, we’re expanding the event with additional vendors set up outside on the front lawn. Our always-popular Silent Auction baskets will be back as well, and we would be grateful for your support. If you’re able to donate a gift card to include in one of our baskets, it would be sincerely appreciated.
Our Gracious Gifts shop will feature new handmade crafts and the Men’s Brotherhood Bistro will once again be serving delicious food. The Vintage Chic shop will be selling your wonderful, donated holiday items – we are still in need of more holiday-themed donations. Please reach out to Barb Glenn or Karen Jennings by leaving a message with the church office to arrange for donation drop-off.
Holiday Bazaar Bake Sale Update - Last year, our Holiday Bazaar Bake Sale was an overwhelming success thanks to the wonderful bakers in our congregation. As we prepare for this year‘s Bazaar in October, we are again asking for your baking skills and talents to fill our sale table. We are looking for pies, cakes, and breads – our best sellers last year – along with yeast breads, quick/tea breads, cookies, pastries, candy, brownies, dessert bars, and anything else you would like to make to support our church. If you would like to bake for the Bazaar, please find the sign-up sheet in the narthex. More information about packaging and drop-off dates will be forthcoming. Please contact the church office or see Hanna FitzGerald or Diane Hunt if you have questions. Thank you for your time and for baking for this event!
