On the cross, Jesus bore our sin and suffered in our place. By His wounds we are healed. Through His sacrifice, mercy was secured, forgiveness was made possible, and the brokenness of sin was met with redeeming love.

Good Friday reminds us of the depth of Christ’s compassion; a love that endured suffering so that we might be made whole and restored to God.

As we reflect on His suffering and redeeming grace, may we live on mission, sharing the hope of the gospel and making disciples of all nations.

We will be having our egg hunt inside today due to the rain. There will still be lunch served at 12, a Bible lesson and egg hunting INDOORS.

Mt Carmel will be holding regular Sunday school and church services tomorrow, February 1, 2026. We will dismiss after the morning service which begins at 11:00. We will not have a fellowship meal or afternoon services tomorrow if you were snowed in or need to stay at home, please stay home and stay warm. We love you and God bless.

Tomorrow, Sunday, January 25th, 2026, Mt Carmel Baptist Church will not be having services due to anticipated sleet on top of the current snow. Please stay safe and warm. Worship together with your family, read some scriptures, sing some hymns or sing along with K LOVE and worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth. ❤️
