Each Sunday, more than 39,694 United Methodists gather in this region for worship. Throughout the week, these people participate in ministries that focus on young people, advocacy and action, wellness and missions, leadership, and new expressions of faith. As a connectional church, the Baltimore-Washington Conference joins in ministry with 12 million United Methodists in churches around the world. What could worship look like if every generation had a meaningful role in shaping it? ❤️

The Intergenerational Worship CoLaboratory gives church teams the opportunity to find out. From September through April, participating congregations will move beyond ideas and begin experimenting with practical ways to make worship more engaging, collaborative, and inclusive of people at every age and stage of life.

The goal isn't to find one perfect model. It's to discover what authentic intergenerational worship can look like in your unique church community. 🙏

IGNITE is about more than one weekend. It’s about creating spaces where young people can connect, grow in faith, and discover what it means to lead and serve together. ❤️

This fall, IGNITE Campfires are bringing youth, young adults, and chaperones together for evenings of fellowship, fun, and s’mores as we build toward the IGNITE Conference in January.

The letters of the apostles were often filled with encouragement, correction, wisdom, and reminders of God's faithfulness. They spoke to real people navigating uncertainty, struggle, hope, and growth, much like we are today. ❤️
