Calvary Baptist Church children and youth will be going to the nursing home Wednesday night to give out blankets that WMU has collected. You may dress in a costume but nothing scary please! We will have a special treat for the kids too!

Fall Festival at Calvary Baptist Church, 6 pm, Saturday, October 20th! Children thru 6th grade - crafts and a movie! Children can dress up too (nothing scary please)! Youth 7th & up - Scavenger Hunt! Food and hayrides for all ages! Come join us as we glorify God in fellowship with one another! ~ Kathi S.

The youth are selling KRISPY KREME donuts $7/box to raise money for their trip to Winter Extreme. For those that don't know this is a GREAT youth conference and has been a great revival experience for our youth in years past. They did not go last year and are looking forward to it sooo much this year. Please contact one of the youth, or comment here, if you would like to purchase a box. Thanks to all who helped make this D-NOW weekend a great and fun experience for all of our youth!!!! From helping with meals to opening up your homes for the kids to stay two nights! Big thanks to Turtle and Anna Umphers for supplying a meal for Sunday lunch! The youth said they really enjoyed the speakers, band, and the drama team that performed! God is good! ~ Kathi S.

Idk about you all but I am SUPER EXCITED about church tomorrow!!!! It is YOUTH Sunday and fundraiser luncheon and the Kings are going to finally be back with our church family for worship service!!! I know they are excited! I just know we are going to have a great time in the LORD!!! I can feel it!! Get ready and see you at 10 for Sunday School/Bible Study and 11 for Worship! Drama team will perform and Praise and Worship band. Austin Malone will be preaching! GOD IS AWESOME!!!! - Kathi S.
