St. Xenia Camp The official page for St. Xenia's Camp! We are under the auspices of the Eparchial Synod of the GOC of America. St.

Xenia Orthodox Church Camp, since 2000, has been held at Camp Forest Acres, a beautiful summer campsite that has been in use since the 1920’s. It is situated in picturesque Fryeburg, Maine bordering the scenic White Mountains of New Hampshire. The campsite includes space for handling up to 100 campers comfortably, including cabins that are fitted with bathrooms and electricity, a spacious indoor g

ymnasium, a theater building, and extensive facilities for crafts. Outdoor facilities include an Olympic size pool, tennis courts, a huge activity field, a neighboring river for canoeing, campfire areas, and much more. Overall, the camp offers a diverse array of enjoyable options for indoor and outdoor activities in an attractive setting. Forest Acres is approximately (3) hours driving distance from Greater Boston, a ride that is scenic and easy with directions that are provided with the registration material.

Beloved concelebrants and faithful Christians,
St. Xenia Camp Leadership continues to work diligently to keep the cost of camper registration
affordable to all. With roughly $45,000 in projected costs, and given the financial hardships of
so many, I hope that those who are able will consider financially supporting the mission of the
camp in one of the following ways.

❖
Sponsor a camper- help a parish or family give their youth a unique Orthodox experience, by
supporting the camper scholarship fund.
➢
$395 sends a camper who may otherwise be unable to attend.
*Last year was a record year for sponsorship requests, so help is needed.
❖
Sponsor a counselor- many of our young leaders volunteering as counselors are in need of
assistance with transportation costs.
➢
$100 provides 1 counselor stipend, supporting a week of service to our youth.
❖
Set the table- help our kitchen fuel the camp with fasting feasts for all ages. With 175-200
attendees expected, that’s a lot of mouths to feed!
➢
$100 feeds a camper or counselor for the week!
➢
Sponsor a meal in memory of a loved one, remembrance of a patron saint or saint
celebrated during camp week (August 3-9; 16-22 N.S.), or for the feast of the
Transfiguration of our Savior.
