It's WORK WEEKEND! 25+ dedicated people have showed up to help get camp ready for the summer camp session. More repairs and updates in the Woof Cabin, the Mack Cabin reconfigured for the boy Flames and the Dorm Dad, Lalla's Garden mulched, ramps repaired, trees felled and cut up, historical records inspected and registered, and oh so much more! Good food, good people, good work, good job!

With sadness, I'm sharing this news. Doug loved the Assembly. He had fond memories of being a Flame with Gerrit and Randall. As a young father, he introduced his kids to the camp. And in his later years, he enjoyed the peace of spending time alone in a cabin off- season. He continued reading Swedenborg and spoke of someday returning to a camp session in person. For those who knew him as a young man, he spoke of you often when I talked to him about camp. I hope that thinking of him brings you joy.

It's Waterfront Wednesday. Here's Bruce Dole in on Work Day in 1993 setting some large flat stones in the riverbank for stairs. These stones are still there today.
