🎨📻 Creativity was on full display at Promise Prep this past month!
Our Promise Prep Scholars had an incredible time in Art as they stepped into the roles of both entrepreneurs and advertisers. Students designed their own unique products, brought their ideas to life through creative artwork, and then took it a step further by producing exciting radio commercials to promote their inventions!
This hands-on project challenged scholars to think creatively, communicate effectively, and build confidence as they shared their ideas with others. We are so proud of the imagination, teamwork, and innovation they demonstrated throughout the process.

🔬⚙️ Science came to life this term at Promise Prep!

Our scholars had an amazing time exploring the world of Motion and Simple Machines through hands-on learning and creative problem-solving. One of the highlights of the term was our exciting Can Lamp Project! 💡

Students transformed ordinary cans into beautiful, functional lamps by carefully deconstructing the can, designing unique patterns, and punching decorative holes to create stunning light effects. Along the way, they learned how to build a battery-powered LED lighting system and install all the components needed to bring their creations to life.

This project combined science, engineering, creativity, and perseverance as scholars discovered how simple machines and electrical circuits can work together to create something amazing. We are incredibly proud of the innovation, craftsmanship, and teamwork our students demonstrated throughout the process!
