Heritage Community Church exists to lead people into living everyday life with Jesus and leaving a legacy of faith by creating environments where they are growing spiritually, sharing life together, and serving the world. We gather each Thursday at 7:00pm and Sunday at 8:15am, 9:45am, and 11:15am for a time of worship. We offer children's classes for babies through 5th grade as well. Celebrating lives changed this summer. Celebrating people willing to say out loud that they love Jesus. Celebrating those changing direction to follow the Savior.

We believe baptism is a a symbolic way to tell others we decided to trust in Jesus, and that because of Him, we are changed.

People may see your history.
Jesus sees what grace can do with your future.
People may see your mistakes but Jesus sees redemption.
Jesus doesn’t tell the Samaritan woman, “Go clean yourself up before you come over here and talk to me.” Instead, He meets her exactly where she is.

But don’t get confused. Jesus is giving approval of her mistakes and sins. He offers to redeem them. Because Jesus meets you where you are, but he loves you so much to leave you there.

Grace does not pretend sin isn’t sin.
Grace loves you enough to confront the thing that’s killing you.

What burden do you carry?
What are you protecting that Jesus wants you to surrender?
What are you clinging to that doesn’t satisfy you and leaves emptiness in your soul?

What’s consuming you?
What sucks the life out of you when Jesus is trying to give you life?
What burden do you carry that you need to leave with Jesus?

Friends, leave your burdens with Him. Choose Jesus. Jesus knows our history.
He knows our decisions.
He knows our brokenness.
He knows everything, and He still talks to us.
Jesus says, “I know exactly what you did, and I’m still calling you.”

This is grace.

We long for peace—the kind that stands calm amid the storm. This is the peace our Jesus longs to give.

Jesus does not promise a life free from heartbreak or storms. He does not promise a life filled with sunshine and cloudless skies. But He does promise His infinite love and His unshakable peace.

His Peace brings comfort in tragedy, hope in pain, and calm in uncertainty. Peace whispers that all can be well with our soul.

Friends, let’s pray that during the storms, we allow ourselves to be sheltered by the Rock. Pray we know the Truth—while we may still feel the rain beating upon our face, we will not be swept away. This, my dear friends, is the true Peace of Christ.

In John 14:27 Jesus promises, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.”

Do you wonder if you’re good enough? You don’t have to spend the rest of your life trying to convince God you’re worthy of his love.

The reality is we’re not worthy. But He loves us anyway.
That’s why salvation is God’s Grace.

Grace isn’t God saying you finally became good enough. Grace is God saying you can never be good enough so God makes a way.
That way—that Grace—is Jesus.
