Good morning, brothers and sisters. Our scripture today is:
Matthew 9:35-38, New Living Translation
Jesus traveled through all the towns and villages of that area, teaching in the synagogues and announcing the Good News about the Kingdom. And he healed every kind of disease and illness.
36) When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.
37) He said to his disciples, “The harvest is great, but the workers are few.
38) So pray to the Lord who is in charge of the harvest; ask him to send more workers into his fields.”

1 Corinthians 12:18-22, New Living Translation
But our bodies have many parts, and God has put each part just where he wants it.
19) How strange a body would be if it had only one part!
20) Yes, there are many parts, but only one body.
21) The eye can never say to the hand, “I don’t need you.” The head can’t say to the feet, “I don’t need you.”
22) In fact, some parts of the body that seem weakest and least important are actually the most necessary.

My dear brothers and sisters, how can you claim to have faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ if you favor some people over others?
2) For example, suppose someone comes into your meeting dressed in fancy clothes and expensive jewelry, and another comes in who is poor and dressed in dirty clothes. 3) If you give special attention and a good seat to the rich person, but you say to the poor one, “You can stand over there, or else sit on the floor”—well,
4) doesn’t this discrimination show that your judgments are guided by evil motives?

Colossians 3:12-15, New Living Translation
Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
13) Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.
14) Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony.
15) And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful.

Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself.
2) Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.
3) If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.
